How It All Began

Fabian was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. His love of nature was sparked at a young age, during rugged expeditions with his father to a family farm near the isolated town of Cojimíes in the coastal province of Manabí. The journey there—over 18 hours on muddy, narrow roads, crossing unbridged rivers and descending from the high Andes through cloud forests—was a true adventure.

The farm sat in the middle of untouched jungle, far from modern conveniences. There was no electricity, no phone lines, and the only light came from flashlights and candles. Nights were filled with the sounds of frogs, birds, insects, and the occasional distant howl of wild animals. The environment was wild and alive, and for a five-year-old boy, it felt like stepping into another world.

These early experiences stayed with him. Over time, the thrill of the journey turned into a deeper desire to capture and share the magic of those places. With no formal training, Fabian picked up a camera and taught himself everything—by doing, exploring, and failing until he found his voice.

Today, every image he creates carries that early sense of wonder, rooted in the silence of remote forests, the warmth of sunrise in the mountains, and the humbling presence of wildlife just a few feet away. His goal is simple: to create photographs that help people reconnect with nature, feel something real, and surround themselves with the beauty that still exists in this world
